The 50% Rule: How Does It Works?

The 50% rule is a fundamental of the WEWE referral plan, and every user must know it to do the best in their business and get the highest rewards. How does it work? And what would happen if the rule doesn’t exist?

WEWE has a bonus plan which contains several bonuses:

  • Direct Bonus
  • Infinity Bonus
  • Matching Bonus
  • Global Pool Bonus
  • Rewards Bonus
  • Car Program Bonus

+ Fast Start Bonus, that is a temporary promotion bonus.

If an IWA wants to qualify for Career Rank and Monthly Commissionable Rank, they must respect the 50% rule.

What could happen without the 50% rule?

The purpose of the 50% rule is to incentivize users to have more legs/lines, instead of focusing on just one leg. Furthermore, it prevents a user who is not working anymore from getting rewards from a person in their network who, instead, performs an excellent activity.

Stanley starts his referral business on WEWE. He has no noteworthy results, but one day he signs Kelly in his network, who turns out to be a master of referral marketing and she becomes his best leg (the leg/line with higher turnover).

Kelly signs many people who make hundreds of purchases, and Stanley enjoys it too, because he gets network commissions.

Stanley realizes he has had a great fortune thanks to her, and decide to relax and not seek other direct people for his team. Indeed, he just stops following Kelly in his work, but she continues independently.

Stanley no longer works and lives on income thanks to Kelly’s work.

That’s fair? No. A sponsor must deserve the rewards, and not make a living on the work of others. The 50% rule prevents situations as such the one of Stanley and Kelly.

Let’s see how it works.

50% Rule on Infinity Bonus and Rewards Bonus

In these two bonuses, there is a turnover goal.

→ In a few words, the 50% rule is: the best leg can contribute up to 50% of the target.

Following is an example of one IWA which targets the Monthly Commissionable Rank of a Director 5 Stars.

The Monthly Commissionable Rank of a Director 5 Stars is 25,000 WEWEX of network turnover.

Regan has 4 direct members and below them deeper levels. That means that Regan has 4 legs in her team.

The first leg has a total turner of 40,000 WEWEX.

The second leg has a total turner of 10,000 WEWEX.

The third leg has a total turner of 20,000 WEWEX.

The fourth leg has a total turner of 3,000 WEWEX.

The best leg is the one with 40,000 WEWEX of turnover.

The best leg can only contribute 50% to the Monthly Commissionable Rank goal. In this case, the goal is 25,000 WEWEX for Director 5 Stars: 50% of 25,000 is 12,500, so the 40,000 best leg is calculated for only 12,500 WEWEX.

The other legs are considered their turnover as they are.

So what’s the total turnover? Did Regan make it to the goal of Monthly Commissionable Rank Director 5 Stars?

12,500 + 10,000 + 20,000 + 3,000 = 45,500 WEWEX

Yes, Regan reached the target of 25,000 WEWEX and even surpassed it!

What happens if the Monthly Commissionable Rank is not reached?

The next month, Regan is still Director 5 Stars Career Rank, and then she has the goal of reaching the Monthly Commissionable Rank of a Director 5 Stars, 25,000 WEWEX network turnover.

Her team worked poorly this month, the results are:

The first leg has a total turner of 40,000 WEWEX.

The second leg has a total turner of 3,500 WEWEX.

The third leg has a total turner of 2,000 WEWEX.

The fourth leg has a total turner of 1,000 WEWEX.

The best leg is the one with 40,000 WEWEX of turnover.

The platform system calculates if Regan has met the Monthly Commissionable Rank Director 5 Stars requirements. For the Director 5 Stars, the goal is 25,000 WEWEX, 50% of 25,000 is 12,500, so the 40,000 best leg will only be calculated for 12,500 WEWEX.

12,500 + 3,500 + 2,000 + 1,000 = 19,000 WEWEX

No, Regan didn’t achieve the 25,000 WEWEX target. What happens now?

The system recalculates with the Monthly Commissionable Rank of a Director 4 Stars goal.

If Regan has failed to qualify for the desired rank, she may have made it to the lower rank.

By recalculating, it must be considered that the Monthly Commissionable Rank target has changed: for Director 4 Stars it is 10,000 WEWEX turnover network.

In the recalculation, then the total of 50% of the best leg changes: for Director 4 Stars the 50% of 10,000 WEWEX is 5,000 WEWEX.

If the IWA did not qualify, the system checks if the turnover is sufficient for minor ranks and so on and the 50% rule applies every time.

So, the calculation for Director 4 Stars would be:

The best leg is the one with 40,000 WEWEX of turnover, and the maximum for the 50% rule for Director 4 Stars is 5,000.

5,000 + 3,500 + 2,000 + 1,000 = 11,500 WEWEX

Monthly Commissionable Rank goal for Director 4 Stars achieved!

What if Regan didn’t even reach the Director 4 Stars goal? The system would have recalculated for Director 3 Stars, and therefore with a new and lower maximum best leg turnover.

50% Rule on Fast Start Bonus

For the Fast Start Bonus, IWA must make at least 1000 WEWEX turnover to receive the bonus. Aside from the minimum, there is no fixed target, so the 50% rule applies differently from how it works with Infinity Bonus and Reward Bonus.

→ In a few words, the highest turnover, which can be the best leg or the sum of the other legs, is reduced to the minor amount, which can be the best leg or the sum of the other legs.

Let’s see a few examples:

2 Legs

Mohamed has two direct members, and therefore two legs. One direct has a turnover of 8,000 WEWEX and the other 5,000 WEWEX.

The calculation with the 50% rule applied as:

5,000 + 8000 5,000 = 10,000 WEWEX of total turnover

This is because the best leg 8,000 is reduced to the lowest value of the other leg, 5,000.

More than 2 Legs

Jamie has 4 legs in her network.

The first leg has a total turner of 5,000 WEWEX.

The second leg has a total turner of 2,000 WEWEX.

The third leg has a total turner of 1,000 WEWEX.

The fourth leg has a total turner of 1,000 WEWEX.

The best leg is 5,000 and the sum of the other legs 4,000. The best leg has the highest value, so it is lowered to 4,000 as the other legs sum. The calculation with the 50% rule applied is: 4,000 + 4,000 = 8,000 WEWEX of total turnover.

Cristiano has 4 legs in his network.

The first leg has a total turner of 5,000 WEWEX.

The second leg has a total turner of 3,000 WEWEX.

The third leg has a total turner of 4,000 WEWEX.

The fourth leg has a total turner of 2,000 WEWEX.

The best leg is 5,000 and the sum of the other legs 9,000. The best leg has the lowest value, so it is the value of the other legs’ sum that drops to the best leg amount. 9,000 will be calculated as 5,000. The calculation with the 50% rule applied is: 5,000 + 5,000 = 10,000 WEWEX of total turnover.
