WEWE-ID — How to Complete Your KYC and Verify Your Account
You’ve just joined WEWE Global (congrats on that, we’re happy to have you!), and now you’re wondering: what are the next steps as an Independent WEWE Associate (IWA)? Do you need help in filling out the forms for verifying your account? Don’t fret. In this article, we will learn how you can create your WEWE-ID and complete the verification process. It’s a simple task and shouldn’t take too much of your time. So, let’s get you started on your first step to becoming a Champion!
What is WEWE-ID?
First, let’s understand what a WEWE-ID is. WEWE-ID is a digital identity assigned to every member of WEWE Global when they make their account on the platform. It holds all your personal information, your wallets, and your activity history. You can link some features to your WEWE-ID, such as facial recognition as a confirmation system.
The WEWE-ID is an essential part of our security system, built on the Know Your Customer (KYC) process. This process makes sure that WEWE Global knows who you are, and you can count on the security protocol to make your experience on the ecosystem safe.
When Should We Create Our WEWE-ID?
Your WEWE-ID is to be created for your first transaction on the platform. A window will open on the page MY BANK, and you will be asked to complete the form with your information and photos.
Once you have completed the form and submitted it, it will be sent to our verification team for checking. Based on the information provided, the team will either approve or reject your application.
If the information is incomplete, you will be asked to fill out the remaining information before the team can go ahead and approve your application.
If the information provided is not clear and we cannot verify if you are the same person as in your documents, your application will be rejected.
Once your application is approved, you will then have access to the entire WEWE Global ecosystem, based on the subscription you’ve purchased.
How to Complete Your Verification Process
You will need to use either your smartphone or computer to complete the WEWE-ID form. It is important that your device has a camera, as you will need to take photos of your IDs and yourself. We recommend using your smartphone.
IDs we accept:
- National Identity Card
- Driver’s License
We recommend using your passport since it contains the most information.
Steps to Fill Out the Form
1. Fill out your first name and last name as written on your chosen ID.
If you have a middle name on your document, write that along with your last name. If your name includes any punctuations, such as periods or dashes, write them as well.
The only punctuation not supported is the apostrophe ( ‘ ): If your name has an apostrophe, please insert a simple space in its place.
Example: “De’Santos” should be written as “De Santos.”
2. Choose Your Password
Once the first page has been completed and you click ‘Next’, you will be emailed an alphanumeric confirmation code which you must enter to continue.
3. Verify your documents
Enter all the required information in the “Verification Document” section and do not leave any space empty.
In the “Where were you born?” question, enter your city of birth.
Enter your full address.
Since this form has been designed for a global audience, some spaces may seem repetitive or not useful for your address. If in doubt, enter the same information in more than one space, but do not leave any space empty or incomplete.
If your address has an apostrophe, please insert a simple space in its place.
Enter your mobile number.
Enter your active mobile number, on which you will receive a confirmation text message.
4. Upload Your Photo and Documents
Now, it is time to upload your photos.
Take a real-time photo of your face.
Make sure your face is fully lit and there are no dark shadows. We recommend taking a photo in a bright room. Do not wear sunglasses, caps, scarves, or other accessories.
Take a photo of your ID document.
Ensure that the photo you take is clear enough to read all the information on it. Show some space around the document, so it is possible to see the edges. Do not cover any part of your document with your fingers.
Things to Keep in Mind
- If your WEWE-ID is rejected because you entered the wrong information, you will need to correct the wrong items the next time you log in.
- The WEWE-ID is mandatory if you want to use your account. If you fill in your WEWE-ID with “random” information and photos, because you don’t want to provide your identity, your account will be suspended.
- Your information is encrypted and secure, and is visible only to authorized platform management.
- While you wait for your WEWE-ID to be verified, DO NOT open new tickets or send emails to ask for the status of your verification! It will not speed up the process.

Can I hold more than one approved account?
No, each individual can have only one approved account.
How long does it take to verify the WEWE-ID?
It takes approximately 72 hours for your WEWE-ID to be verified by the verification team. In the meantime, you are free to browse through your account.
What happens if I entered the wrong information?
Your verification will be rejected, and on your next login you will be asked to enter the correct information. Our team will report to you the reason the information was rejected.
If I make a mistake, will I have to go through the entire verification process again?
No. You will be asked to only re-enter the information you filled incorrectly. Remember, since it takes about 72 hours for the team to complete the verification process, it might take another 72 hours after you’ve submitted your corrections.
